Analyze This! Composer/Theorist Lecture Recital, Nov. 26, 1 PM (free)

Something different than I usually post, for sure. From the Facebook page:

The Composers’ Collective presents an afternoon of discovery and dialogue. Featuring graduate students from the UBC School of Music, come see an innovative event that brings music theorists together with living composers. In addition to analysis and discussion, the recital will present live performances of all four pieces.
Theorist Chantal Lemire will be presenting her analysis of Farshid Samandari’s Apogee for solo flute. Grant Sawatsky will examine Martin Ritter’s Trans(fixion) for Solo Cello. Nancy Murphy will be discussing Michael Park’s piece, Stories Men Tell for speaking pianist, and finally, Jim Palmer will analyze Daniel Marshall’s O, RĂMÂI for soprano, clarinet, and piano.
