A series of 6 contemporary Italian films about love in its different aspects

In our third millennium, love is a more complicated thing than it used to be until last century – or at least this is what one understands after watching the recent Italian films that we have selected, which look at this crazy little thing called love from a variety of standpoints.

Tuesday, June 26, 6:15 pm
: the first film in the series is L’uomo perfetto (The Perfect Man), a light-hearted comedy teaching us how hiring a guy (Riccardo Scamarcio) to become the perfect man for your love rival can be a dangerous game to play…
Italy, 2005, 95 mins., DVD format, in Italian with subtritles in English

Future screenings (in Italian with English subtitles) will take place at the Istituto, every other Tuesday at 6:15 pm, according to the following schedule:

The series will conclude on Tuesday, September 11 with Ricky Tognazzi’s Tutta colpa della musica (Blame the Music).
