Tiny Music

Work in Progress
A Staged Reading

Written and composed by Noah Drew – to Premiere at the 2014 Chutzpah! Festival!Tiny Music (working title) is an original “sound design musical” loosely adapted from Shalom Aleichem’s short story The Fiddle. The piece centers around a 25 year-old, high-functioning autistic man whose sensory-processing disorder causes him to experience the sounds around him as music.Tiny Music is about individuality and responsibility – what it means to make good choices when what (or who) you love hurts people in your life. It’s about what it means to be Jewish – what it means to be spiritual at all – in secular Canadian culture. Most of all, it’s about the inevitability, the inexplicable holiness, of music.

Admission is pay what you can at the door.
