It’s time to speak UP and speak LOUD on Valentine’s weekend. Back for the 5th year, urban ink productions in association with W2 Media Café will be hosting the annual crossroads poetry slam!!!! Back with attitude and beats, we’re showcasing some of the best spoken word artists and DJs. In an intimate downtown studio space, join us to hear artists speaking out and spinning against injustice. Slam Love Community, friends, represent! A few spots available for OPEN MIC too!

The night will be hosted by Omari Newton and Ronnie Harris. Omari is urban ink’s Resident Artist and playwright of the upcoming explosive hip hop theatre production ‘Sal Capone: the lamentable tragedy of.’ Ronnie Harris, aka Ostwelve, is a multi-media artist and musician, and a major force in W2’s Indigenous Media Arts program.
