STAGE READING OF DEEP WATER BY LORETTA SETO – SUNDAY, APRIL 21

On April 21, VACT presents a free staged reading of talented emerging writer Loretta Seto’s newest revisions to her work, Deep Water, at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam.

Date: Sunday, April 21
Time: 2:00 pm
Location: Evergreen Cultural Centre, Coquitlam

Loretta Seto is a promising young playwright and author whose one-woman show Why Weight? featured at the 2011 Vancouver International Fringe Festival and the 2012 Brink Fest. Her first children’s book, Mooncakes, will be released on April 1 (Orcha Book Publishers).

Deep Water was developed through VACT’s 2012 MSG Theatre Lab and is a touching and funny one-woman play about a relationship therapist whose world spirals out of control when she falls pregnant following an affair. As her husband succumbs to depression, she must decide where the future lies, both for herself and her unborn child.
