Birding Walks in Surrey, April 20

Birding Walks in Surrey, April 20

Great post from FreeVanCity (which is rightfully expanding beyond Vancouver’s borders).

Explore Surrey’s parks through bird watching. You’ll improve your identification skills and find answers for your birding questions.  Run wild and go on an adventure.

What to bring and wear:
– Bring a good pair of binoculars and a field guide, if you have them. We’ll have extras on hand for those that don’t have their own.
– Wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes – waterproof is best if you’ve got them.
– Dress warmer than you think is necessary.
– Dress for the weather! Walks go ahead, rain or shine.
