Human-Robot Interactions Lecture, June 13, by donation, H. R. Macmillan Space Centre (planetarium)

From the Electric Company Theatre’s Facebook page. Electric Company is opening a somewhat related theatre production very shortly – You are Very Star.

I include science as a part of culture, and thus this event fits within this blog.

The next installment of H.R. MacMillan Space Centre series “Women in Science – Inspiring Tomorrow’s Leaders” is Thursday, June 13th. Dr. Elizabeth Croft of UBC will be discussing her work on human-robot interactions and how to make them safer and more efficient. Doors open at 6:30, talk begins at 7:00. Admission is by donation. Door prize is a special private tour of the TRIUMF facility at UBC.
